Mrs. Gross was raised in Springville, Utah.

Mrs. Gross attended Springville Junior High. “Back in the olden days, when I went to school, we didn't have mascots... at least I don't think we did. 

If we had a mascot then my mind is slipping even more than I am aware of and I forgot what mascot we had.”

Mrs. Gross’ favorite teacher was Mr. Down who taught Aerobics!   

“I had to walk to school 5 miles each way. 

It was also uphill!”
